YOUR COURSE GUIDE
Hi, I'm Alexandra
a psychologist living and practicing in Saskatchewan, Canada, where winter temperatures at times compete with Mars.
It took me time to adjust to prairie winters after moving here over 15 years ago. I am continuing to build a personal frienship with this season. At the same time, in my clinical practice, I have supported clients in walking through winter year after year. I have been deeply interested in the research around seasonal adjustment, resilience, mood, and nervous system support in cold dark months.
Wintering Well brings together what I learned, practiced, and experienced: how our bodies and minds respond to winter, and how we can move through it with more meaning and aliveness.
